Hi! I’m a freshman at Mizzou this year, a Walter Williams scholar in the J-school, and I was wondering if there was any way I could get involved with Epic. If you need readers or help laying out or anything along those lines, I would love to become a part of the magazine. -Gabrielle Lipton
We always welcome readers. Also, if you’re interested in getting involved now, our next English @ MU meeting is this Monday at 6 pm in the Tate Lounge – the basement of Tate Hall. We can give you more information on Epic there as well as do some fun stuff with the club. We look forward to meeting you!
Hi, I’m an author and one of my stories was published in a web-only section of Epic way back in, I believe, 2003. I can’t seem to find a link to the story anywhere (and I have searched the web extensively). It’s a story called Escher Sketch. It’s very short, written when I was still learning the ropes (I have since published a novel, I’ve included its Facebook Fan Page above), but I would really like to find the online link to my story. Can anyone there at Epic direct me to it, please?
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Kevin
Hi Kevin,
We can look and see if there are still paper copies of the ’03 issue around, but I don’t believe a copy exists on the web.

Hi,
I submitted a story for publication back in ’03-’04 and I was told it had been included in Epic, I believe in volume 3. I never actually saw a copy of the magazine, it wasn’t ever online and Ellis didn’t have it either. I was wondering if you could confirm that it was published and if it’s still possible to get a copy, even if it’s a photocopy? The story was titled “The Sins of the Father, I Guess” Thanks for your help.
